A log cabin on Middle Mountain Road, above Vallecito Lake near Bayfield in La Plata County, Colorado, with the San Juan National Forest immediately behind it. A creek crosses the ground with a log footbridge over its small waterfalls; aspen stands open onto a meadow; the peaks stand up behind the treeline. Inside, the beats that made the cut were the living room and hearth, the kitchen, and the clawfoot-tub bath.
Ninety seconds at 24 frames per second, cut to a single instrumental in G major at 100 BPM, arranged so the chorus arrives exactly on the climb to the peaks. It opens on the road approach with the address titled over it, then a map that establishes how close the cabin sits to Vallecito Lake, then the creek, the meadow, and the cabin revealed through the aspens.
The middle of the film goes indoors for three shots and comes back out onto the covered porch, which is where the parcel-boundary map sits. Then the signature frame (the cabin held against the distant peaks) and a continuous twelve-second slow-motion lift up to the San Juan crest that is the emotional peak of the cut. It deliberately cuts away from that lift rather than riding it to the end: the last thirty seconds return to the creek and settle on a calm hold of the cabin, so the film ends on the house and not on the scenery.
Under the music sits a three-layer ambient bed built from the same location: creek, moving air, and birds, side-chained so they duck beneath the music and drop further during the interior beat. Loudness was mastered to -14 LUFS, the level streaming platforms normalise to, so it does not jump when it plays after something else in a feed.
Two 4K cuts, as with every ORBITH EDIT order: a branded version ending on the agent and brokerage card, and an unbranded version that runs clean to the music fade for MLS use. Both stream from one share link and can be downloaded.
